Indigenous Peoples & the Law

This course examines the historical and contemporary treatment of indigenous peoples under Canada's legal system. Topics may include a review of treaty disputes, the criminal justice system response to indigenous persons in conflict with the law, and self-government and accountability. Exclusions: ID204, LY204.
